It’s been a ‘testing’ time at Mercian Labels over the last few weeks as we welcomed the team from EveryoneHealth in to provide free NHS health checks to eligible members of staff.

As well as the time we spend checking the operational excellence of our manufacturing systems and processes, we also wanted to offer our colleagues the opportunity for a free health MOT as well, so we signed up for these voluntary 20 to 30 minute sessions which quickly and easily check the individual’s Blood Pressure, Height, Weight, BMI, Cholesterol and Blood Sugar levels.

Funded by Staffordshire County Council, these free NHS health checks take place individually on site during the normal working day, in a private room with a healthcare professional and provide instant results, feedback and advice all within the session and without participants having to make a separate doctor’s appointment. A really valuable service for our colleagues who gave lots of positive feedback following their sessions and one that we would highly recommend.
