Mercian Labels are delighted to have been nominated as a Finalist in the Innovation category of this year’s prestigious Digital Labels & Packaging Awards for our launch of the UK’s First 100% recyclable sustainable water based digitally printed paper flow-wrap packaging.
This latest innovation combines the benefits of paper based packaging which does not need a traditional (fossil fuel based) polymer laminate to provide it’s barrier properties, with the waste reduction, speed and agility of digital printing, which utilises water based inks to maintain recyclability and food safety.
